We are a quartet based in Nottingham, UK. who sing mainly in the barbershop style.
Between the members we have a vast experience of not only Barbershop and Acapella singing, but years of performing in the UK , Europe and the USA as (pop) group members and as solo artistes
Special Blend welcome the opportunity to sing virtually anywhere, from a small gathering, or even to one person (your sweetheart? wife?), to large events inside and out.
At the 2010 Lincoln Music Festival were we were placed 1st in the Barbershop Quartet Category.
We have recently performed a at Nottingham Castle, for the Rotary and Lions Clubs, and at private and corporate functions . Please visit our website for more details

Just a line to say many thanks to you wonderful singers who entertained us all on Friday night.It was amazing and everyone said how much they had enjoyed the various christmas carols and all the romantic numbers you all sang.
I thought the 12 days of Christmas went exceptionally well!! and everyone joined in!

We had an amazing honeymoon, we just got back yesterday. Yes it was an amazing end to an amazing day. We would like to thank you all for the amazing performance you gave on our special day. We got some feedback too from our guests and they said you were wonderful and how different it was to a run of the mill string quartet. Yes a truly memorable part to our day.

I booked Special Blend for my father's 70th Birthday party in April 2008. My family and I thought we would like something "a little bit different" in the way of entertainment for such a milestone birthday celebration.
Chris, Mick, Rob & Ron were excellent and professional entertainers. They held the audience's attention brilliantly with their choice of songs, fun choreography and great sense of humour. Special Blend were absolute gentlemen. The quality of their singing was fabulous and their costumes were very smart.
The feedback received after the party was great - they went down a storm. The managers of the party venue were so impressed with the quartet that they have booked Special Blend for a charity event at Christmas 2008, and I believe that some of the party guests were interested in booking them for other functions.
I would highly recommend this professional and fun quartet.
